For some unexplainable reason, measurements for stuff (products, wearing apparel, tables etc.) end up being in quarter or one-half-inches. They seldom are rounded off to the nearest whole number, which is why accuracy in measuring is of prime importance. The Half & Quarter tape highlights the i/2 and i/4 measurements via an intuitive LED strip in the tape interface. It just makes life easy for fashion designers, professional carpenters, production designers, engineers and architects.
